Transfer Google Play games to Apple
Hi! I used to be an Android user and bought games on my phone through Google Play/the Android App Store. Is there anyway to download the games I bought on my Google on my iPhone?
iPhone 13, iOS 26

There is no way to transfer apps from the Google Play Store to Apple devices, just like you cannot download an app from the App Store and transfer them to an Android device.
A developer that offers an app on both platforms could certainly give you a Promo Code that you could enter into the App Store and it would allow you to download the app for free. They are not obligated to do that and I would only expect that from a developer that provided exceptional customer service. You won't know unless you contact them and ask.

You're buying a different piece of software. If I buy single sheets for my single bed, but then I buy a king-size bed, I have to buy new sheets. I don't get free sheets from a company because I bought some before and just need a different size.
Don't forget. When you buy from the Google Play Store, Google gets their cut. When you download from the Apple App Store, Apple get's theirs.
You can try reaching out to the developers and seeing if they'll give you some kind of discount code but I wouldn't hold my breath.

What a great comparison!

Android phones and iPhones are different platforms, just like Windows PCs and Macs. A platform provides a set of interfaces that stuff running on it can use. For native apps, if you change either
you have a different platform.
Even if you are just drawing a circle on the screen, the code needed for Android is different from the code needed for iOS. That's why you can't take an app built for Android and run it under iOS, or vice versa.
If the developers offer those games in Apple's App Store, you can download them there. If they are not free, you'll need to purchase them.

I'm glad you think so. I wasn't sure it worked.
