Using Higlobe prepaid card to buy iPhone in the U.S. Apple Store

Hi everyone,

I live in Brazil, but my brother is currently in the United States. I work remotely and receive payments in U.S. dollars through the Higlobe platform.

I’d like to know if it’s possible to buy an iPhone using a virtual Higlobe prepaid card (Mastercard) and have my brother pick it up at a U.S. Apple Store.

Does Apple accept this type of prepaid card as a valid payment method in-store?

This is a user to user only forum. As users, we can't speak for Apple, so we can't say whether they will accept this form of payment or not. I will tell you that you buying your iPhone in a country you don't live is never a good idea. iPhone warranty is NOT international and Apple specifically says iPhone Warranty May Be Limited to the Country of Purchase. Why wouldn't you just buy your iPhone where you live and will use it? If there is by chance a cost savings, the savings will evaporate and then some, if warranty support is needed and the phone needs to brought back to the US for service.

You must have a credit card and address in the USA for you to buy online on the US Apple Store.
