I got my iPhone 17 pro max and the setting badge doesn't seem to go away,
I've cleared all notifications and followed avery prompt that I can follow to ged rid of any notifications, but it's still there
I restarted the phone and nothing

You can see on the right side of the picture, that the settings app doesn't tell me what's missing, I've tried accessing as many options or sections as possible within the settings app to see if I find something missing, but nothing

Still there after the hard restart
Usually the badge will remain in settings because you have not completed all of the steps to set up your new iPhone.
Go to settings. Is there are notice telling you to finish setting up your iPhone?
It will usually go away eventually.
Go to General>>software update .
Maybe there is an update pending?
