Pairing issues with Apple Watch SE and iPhone 17 Pro Max after 12 hours

Pairing issues with apple watch SE and iPhone 17 Pro Max. Both have the latest updates and have tried pairing it multiple times however only works for about 12 hours and then stops working. I have just upgraded from an iPhone 15 plus and never had any issues like this with the same Apple Watch. Any recommendations on how to fix this?

If this happened after paring to the new iPhone 17 Pro Max, this looks like an iOS 26 issue, and you should report this directly to Apple Techs by using the Feedback link:

In the meantime you could also try to reset the iPhone to factory settings, in case the iOS software caused the issues, after restoring your new iPhone from the backup of the iPhone 15 Plus.
