My 17pro will only charge on a certain side of the usbc cable. When I plug it in nothing, turn the cable round and it charges. Have tried numerous cables from different brands but the same problem persists.

Have you tried a different power source?
It's unlikely multiple working cables would fail in the same way at the same time. It is possible the fault is with the phone, but I would suspect the power brick first.
Reboot the phone. If that doesn't fix it, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of your local Apple Store.

The original one was the first one that started doing it with. So far tried Anker, Ugreen and Iniu. All the same charge one side and won’t when you flip it over.
Tried 3 different power bricks. Apple anker and Ugreen.
