Received iPhone 11 from Apple when I ordered iPhone 12 pro max

I recently purchased an iPhone 12 pro max from Apple store, the app installed in iPhones. I waited for three weeks and it finally arrived in a UPS box. When I opened the box, I was so excited to finally switch to my new phone but I only happened to see a purple iPhone 11 inside. This is insane and super disappointing, because I ordered from APP STORE NOT EBAY OR SOME OTHER SHYT. The thing is, the boxes were not damaged and everything was sealed like how every Apple product is packaged, I have no idea how tf this happened. Apple is seriously going to lose a loyal customer if I don't get the refund and some sort of compensation. Only the three weeks of excitement and joy to be ruined within seconds of opening the box...

Give Apple a Call Back:

It's a mishap. So, give Apple Support a call. While on the phot, take a photo and eMail it to the Apple Rep for them to overview it. Also, provide them with a proof of purchase, cut as the original packaging, and shipping invoice. Blow it off --it's not YOUR fault.

When I called them, they kept on asking me about a part number but I couldn't locate it on the package. They told me further investigation is needed and suggested me to ship back the product and will keep me updated. Thanks for your reply

Shipping this Back:

You are welcome. Shipping it back, indeed seems the way to go about this(at Apple’s discretion). Never sent in a phone over mail, myself. However, as for my Mac, sending it in was an option. I was sent a pre-packaged box with hard foam in it to safely send it in. In the box, Apple provided me with a pre-printed label for me to stick on the box.


The shipping payment was on Apple.
