Need to Increase Text Size in Google Chrome

On my iPhone 13 Pro Max I mostly use Google Chrome browser, version 141.0.7390.96 for iPhone, I am unable to increase the text size for Chrome when using the iPhone’s Display and Brightness tab or the Accessibility tab in Settings. When I tap the three dots on the Google Chrome browser to bring up the Zoom Text tab to increase the text size, there is no response, it just closes that window and takes me back to the site I was on when I clicked the three dots. This happens no matter what site I happen to be using at the time. How can I increase the text size and make it the default on my Google Chrome browser?
