iMovie keeps crashing
When I open iMovie it frequently doesn't open. Usually after a few tries, it's OK. Today it's constantly "not responding." How to fix this issue?

✽ Check if your Mac has enough memory > storage space free (Eg: 50 Gb) to ensure smooth operation of all you want to do. (Any storage space in iCloud is quite separate)
You can check in Apple menu > System Settings > General > Storage
(Remember to back up your data first, if you need to delete anything to make space available.)
Seems you have MacOS 14.8 installed:

✽ NB: If you choose to update your Mac.it is always wise to back-up Mac first
Else: If you are already using MacOS 14.8.1:
✽ Try quitting iMove > restart your Mac (Apple menu > Restart)> log back in and test iMovie
