iPhone music not showing in iTunes

I had an iPhone 13. Just upgraded to the 17 Pro. Transferred everything from 13 to the 17 successfully, no issues, so my 13 is now out of service.

Plugged my 17 into my computer (PC - Windows 11) to back it up immediately just in case anything happened. Backup was successful.

However, my phone shows my music, but when it's plugged into the computer, iTunes doesn't show the music on my device.

What's the problem and how do i fix it? TIA!!

I don't believe that using Quick Start, or restoring from a backup, transfers purchased music from one phone to another. You would typically need to connect the new phone to your computer and manually synchronize music from the computer to it, in the same way that you synchronized music to the old phone.

(Exception: If you bought purchased music from the iTunes Store, you may be able to redownload directly on the new phone.)
