Apple Watch SE 2 lost haptics, sound, and mic function after watchOS 11 (iOS 26) update

I’ve already tried the following steps:

• Hard reset (holding both buttons) – twice

• Unpaired and re-paired with iPhone

• Set up the watch as a new device instead of restoring from backup

Despite all that, there’s still:

• No vibration/haptics (not even for taps or alarms)

• No sounds (speaker completely silent)

• Microphone not picking up input in Voice Memos or Siri

The watch otherwise functions normally (touch, Bluetooth, fitness tracking, etc.).

Any suggestions or known fixes for this issue after the latest iOS/watchOS update? Could it be a software glitch or hardware compatibility issue introduced in iOS 26?

You did all the user based troubleshooting, the next step would be getting the watch diagnosed and serviced.

The official Apple Support can diagnose your watch online, if you give them a call:

Contact Apple Support - Apple Support

Or is there an Apple Store next to your place?

Genius Bar Reservation and Apple Support Options - Apple

Or an Authorised Apple Service Provider?

Apple - Find Locations
