Check for the App in the App Library:

  • Swipe left on your Home Screen until you reach the last page, which is the App Library.
  • Use the search bar at the top of the App Library and type in "FaceTime".
  • If you find it, you can tap and hold the icon, then select Add to Home Screen to put it back.

Check Screen Time Restrictions:

  • Go to Settings > Screen Time.
  • Tap Content & Privacy Restrictions.
  • If this is turned on, tap Allowed Apps.
  • Make sure the toggle next to FaceTime is turned On (green). If it's off, it hides the app and removes the setting.

Search the App Store:

  • Open the App Store app.
  • Search for "FaceTime".
  • If you or someone else deleted the app, you will see a cloud icon with a down arrow (to re-download) or the Get button. Tap it to restore the app.

Check Regional Settings:

  • In some regions, FaceTime is restricted or not available. Go to Settings > General > Language & Region. Ensure your region is set correctly for where you are and where FaceTime is permitted.
