My battery health is dropping incredibly fast

I have an iPhone 15 and I it’s been in use since December 2024, and up until this September of this year, I had 100% battery health, but I started noticing that from the start of September the battery health started to decline incredibly fast and in mid September I hit 97% battery health, and now in mid October I have 94%. Do I need to worry or do something?

The drop in battery health is not linear. An average of 1% per month is normal. It may stay steady for quite a while, the drop multiple points in quick succession. Given you've been using it now for 10 months, a 6 point drop is good.

Don't stress over it.

So, fair to say that your iPhone is about 9-10 months old?

Battery Health in general would be expected to be about 94-95% at this time. It is remarkable though, amazing actually, that your battery did not decline for 6-7 months at all. So, your battery was declining incredibly slowly when it should have been faster. Sometimes this happens.

But averages tend to average out over time, so it looks like things have normalized.

We will know a bit more about the battery if you can check to see how many Charge Cycles your battery has completed. Post back with that info.
