Time machine doesn't work with Qnap with the new macOS Tahoe

Hello,

My MacBook is backed up via lan to Qnap TS-435XeU. Since the new macOS, Time Machine doesn't work. I have tried almost everything to fix it, including delete all back up files on NAS . The NAS is connected, I am able to open any file there. But Time Machine always fails with a message Try backing up again when "Time Machine" is available. Strange thing is that Time Machine creates folders and files, but after while it fails.

I have change any settings since Tahoe installation.

Could you help me? Thank you

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 26.0

Users have reported that if the name of your computer or backup has special characters / accent marks then it fails. For example, John’s Backup works but Jöhn’s Backup does not. If that’s the case, rename it.

Simplify the name is advised. Report back your success or failure.
