I read an article that the iPhone 17 Pro Max has the highest demand for any of the lineup's models. You can choose to deliver online as those are always available and you can secure your delivery spot as the date will only go further back. Or you can visit one of your Apple Store's. I spoke with someone there today and they suggested the best time to go is mid to early week when it the least busy and you have the best chance to get one when they restock. Tip: you can check the stock of a store online and when it's in stock set it for pick-up.
