Home & Lock Screen DRAINING battery quickly

Settings>Battery/Home & Lock screen is at 40% !!!!!

Generally that indicates one or more Widgets are having issues. Delete the Widgets and associated app and download a new copy. Likely causes are weather related, finance/bank related or sports related Widgets. However, it’s not limited to those.
