iPhone 16 Pro Max – CarPlay Not Working (Wired & Wireless) – Tried Everything

Hi everyone,

I recently got an iPhone 16 Pro Max, and CarPlay is not working at all. When I plug the phone into my car, the phone only shows that it’s charging, but CarPlay never appears. Nothing pops up on the car screen.

Here’s everything I’ve already tried:

Tested with multiple certified USB cables

Tested in two different cars

Used the same cable with another iPhone — CarPlay works perfectly

Tried wireless CarPlay — also does not connect

Updated to the latest iOS version

Reset / restored the phone

Toggled CarPlay setting on/off, reset network & all settings

Visited an Apple Store — they couldn’t fix it

Called Apple Support while inside the car — still no solution

At this point, it seems like an issue with the phone itself rather than the car or cable. Has anyone else experienced this with the iPhone 16 Pro Max or found a solution? Any help would be appreciated.
