Apple Watch keeps prompting for incorrect iCloud credentials

My Apple Watch keeps asking me to sign into my iCloud account. I use the user name that I do in all my other devices, as well as the password but the watch keeps telling me there is an error in the user name and or password. What's wrong?

Did you try to type the Apple Account password on the keyboard on your iPhone, to make sure there have been no typos?

Make sure that on your iPhone in Settings/Notifications/Apple Watch keyboard is enabled.

Then bring your iPhone near the Apple Watch. When the watch asks for the Apple Account password, you should get a message on your iPhone, asking, if you want to use the iOS keyboard to type the password and send it to the Apple Watch.

To check which Apple Account has been used to set up the watch, open the WatchApp on your iPhone and go to -> General -> Apple Account.
