Windows 11 not recognizing iPod 7th Generation

For a decade I've used an iPod 7th generation as my music source in my car (I prefer a wired connection in the car, with ALAC files, for the fidelity). I have thousands of songs on my iPod. I was also using iTunes on my PC to hold and organize my music library. I had been using a Windows 10 PC, but just upgraded to a new Windows 11 PC. The new machine does not recognize my iPod. I uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes, with the same result. I then uninstalled iTunes and installed Apple Music and Apple Devices. Same result. I had 2 different PC repairmen try to help, to no avail. I have a lot of music on my iPod that is not available on streaming services, so I really want my iPod to work with my new computer. I've tried new cables, turning the iPod on and off, etc., to no avail. FWIW, iTunes and/or Apple Music & Devices is not recognizing my iPhone 16 Pro either. I've seen this topic discussed in various forums, but have yet to find a workable solution. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!
