Can I turn off the iPhone sounds I hear in my AirPods 2 Pro?

Using my AirPod Pro 2 for hearing aids. They work very well! I've been unable find a setting on my iPhone to turn off the iPhone Notification sounds that are very loud in the AirPods. For that matter, other sounds such as closing the phone down are loud. Is there a setting for this?

Thanks!

iPhone 16, iOS 18

You can turn down your AirPods system sounds.

Go to:

Settings > Accessibility > AirPods > scroll to the bottom and turn down the volume to the appropriate level.

Try going to:

Settings > Sounds & Haptics

Make sure "Change with Buttons" is disabled. If this feature is enabled, the volume of ringtones and alerts will change when you press the volume buttons.

Once you are in the menu, you can disable the lock sound. Scroll down a little further in the same menu and disable Lock Sound.
