Try keeping less things open in the background in general to lower the load on your phone. You should refrain from using low power mode with this OS, especially if you value the smoothness of the UI. On a final note, don’t use the glass elements as rendering them takes a lot of power, like in the wallpaper (time) and for the app “color.” Consider using alternatives to Apple native apps as they don’t utilize glass in their UI like Google Chrome for instance. You could also reduce motion in accessibility -> motion and reduce transparency in accessibility. All of these tips should improve performance but using IOS 26 may come with much less battery life so be on the lookout for that.
