iPhone 17 Pro Max Bluetooth not connecting to car

Since getting my IPhone 17 Pro Max, I can’t connect the Bluetooth to my car. I thought maybe my car software was the issue but my partner has the exact same phone and he can connect to my car via Bluetooth.

Any suggestions?

Did you have your car forget your previous phone?
Did you open Settings > General > About > Name and give your phone a different name from your previous phone?
In your infotainment system in your car, are you using their directions on how to pair a new phone?
Do you by chance have a VPN insttalled (whether used or not) on your iPhone?

I used to have a VPN months ago but got rid and haven’t had it since.
