IOS 26.01 lock screen customisation error

I wanted to edit some widget settings on the lock screen and I got the following error when I tried to customise the current wallpaper: Failed to Load Asset.

It's an old default wallpaper that came across to my iPhone 16 pro from my old gen 1 iPhone SE.

Obviously I could just change to a new wallpaper, but I'm irritated now and I want to keep the old wallpaper.
