apple's repair after private repair
My phone is suffering from water damage.
Will I be able to get a repair from the Apple Store, even though I have received a private repair before?
iPhone 13 Pro, iOS 18

No.
1. Apple won't touch a phone that has been tampered with by a third party repair shop.
2. Water damaged phones cannot be repaired. You're looking at purchasing a new phone.

"v) service cannot be performed because the serial number has been altered, defaced or removed or the product has failed due to accident, abuse, liquid spill or submersion, neglect, misuse (including faulty installation, repair, or maintenance by anyone other than Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider), unauthorized modification, extreme environment (including extreme temperature or humidity), extreme physical or electrical stress or interference, fluctuation or surges of electrical power, lightning, static electricity, fire, acts of God or other external causes (“Service Exclusions”). Apple will return your product to you without servicing it and may charge you the Diagnostic Fee.
Yes, you can, at the standard out-of-warranty price.
From all the evidence I have read here over the years, no they will not touch it because Apple provides a 90 day repair warranty and they will not guarantee something that has been prised open by "Mr Bodgit"

Apple is going to repair a water-damaged phone, that has been tampered with by a third-party repair shop?
Really?
I tend to think that Kurtosis12 has a more accurate assessment. But if you want to confirm that, contact Apple, and tell them up-front that your phone is water-damaged and worked on by a third-party repair shop. Then see what they say.
I believe the out of warranty can solve the problem
