Why do I have to pay the repair fee for water damage on iPhone 16 with warranty?

Dear Apple Company

Greetings

I purchased an iPhone

16 four months ago (now under warranty). Water dripped onto it, but it wasn't

submerged. When I charged it, it gave me a message that the phone was

waterlogged.

I went to an agent in

Egypt, Tradeline, and they cleaned it. However, the device still gave me a

message that it was waterlogged when charging. The Apple agent in Egypt,

Tradeline, told me that they were requesting repair fees.

We trust Apple

products. How can it be under warranty and still require repair fees?

Please kindly resolve

the issue of replacing or replacing the device with the agent in Egypt.

Thank you very much

for your cooperation.

Attached are the device details
