Check the charging port for lint or other debris (use a bright light and a toothpick).

Try to plug in some other plug point or other place. Try to connect the cable to computer and see whether it does. If it does the fault could be with the charger. If it is under warranty try to get it replaced. If not you can get another charger. Thanks.
