Location: Bangladesh

Issue:

After updating to iOS 26.0.1, I’m experiencing severe lag and stuttering during online matches in eFootball (by Konami). The game freezes every 2–3 seconds, making it unplayable.

Even outside gaming, the phone feels sluggish — scrolling, app switching, and animations are not smooth.

This issue started only after the iOS 26.0.1 update. No such lag was present on iOS 18

Steps tried:

Force restarted the device,

Cleared app cache,

Ensured 50%+ free storage,

Disabled Low Power Mode,

Request:

Please investigate and fix this performance regression in the upcoming iOS 26.1 update. Many users in Bangladesh and globally are reporting similar gaming lag on iPhone 14 Pro Max.

This is a user-to-user forum, so no one here can investigate anything. And, as it is a problem with your iPhone, not a hundred million others, the problem can't be duplicated, and a problem that can't be duplicated cannot be solved.

Perhaps a long shot:

Do you have a 3rd party VPN installed, even if you are not using it? If so, delete the VPN profile in Settings/General/VPN & Device Management/VPN, then restart your device. Don't just turn it off; delete the profile. If that fixes it, you can try reinstalling VPN, but probably shouldn't.
