How Can I Set a Custom Notification Sound for One Specific App in iOS 26?

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to figure out how to assign a custom notification sound to just one specific app on my iPhone running iOS 26. I have a particular app whose alerts I want to distinguish from others, so I can immediately recognize its notifications by sound alone without needing to check my screen.

This would be incredibly helpful for prioritizing notifications based on their importance. For example, if I hear a certain tone, I’ll know it’s from that app and can respond quickly, while other sounds might indicate less urgent alerts.

I’ve looked through the app’s settings but there's nothing there, but is this possible in iOS 26? If so, where can I configure it?

Thanks in advance for any guidance!

Unfortunately, it is not possible to choose custom ringtones for apps. Apps can offer this themselves, within their own settings. However, in your iPhone's Settings, you can only change the sounds listed in Settings > Sounds & Haptics.
