Can’t download from app store

IHi, I’m trying to download free apps from the App Store, but it keeps asking for a payment method.

When I try to set my payment to ‘None,’ it says I have an active subscription — but I don’t.

Can you please help remove any hidden or stuck subscriptions so I can select ‘None’ and download free apps again?”
