How to merge DRM-protected movie libraries from two Apple IDs on a NAS?

I have 2 appleID's each with their own movie library (I bought these!). I while ago an apple advisor told me that I could not merge these libraries into one. So, recently I bought a NAS to realise that merge, and moved the .m4v files from my mac to my nas. The result is that I cannot watch the movies anyhow. The problem seems to be the DRM protection. There seem to be tools to remove these, but on one hand I don't want to start pirating movies as I think that artists should be rewarded for the media they produce. On the other hand I want to organise the movies I payed for, as I please. Worse, the DRM tool I looked at, seems to me like scam as they request you appleID to start with (=AppleID theft?). It's a pity because I like the movies offered by apple, but they lack users flexibility. Does anyone have some advice on this?

Thanks,

Apple now offers a way to migrate purchases from one Apple ID to another.

Outside of that, there is no legal way to merge the, that does not require DRM to be broken.
