Does Calling 911 on an iPhone in the Philippines Automatically Notify Emergency Contacts?

I’m trying to understand how the emergency call system works on iPhones in the Philippines. If I use my iPhone (Particularly, Iphone 13) to call 911, will my designated emergency contacts (set up in the Health app under Emergency SOS) automatically receive a notification that I’m making the call? Or does the call only connect me to emergency services without alerting my contacts? I want to make sure I know how my iPhone handles emergency situations and whether additional steps are needed to notify my family or friends.
