Mobile data switching not working in iOS 26.1 Control Center

Before iOS 26.1, I could easily just tap near the small two-way up-down arrow on the Mobile Data button in the control center, to switch between Airtel & Jio carriers, but since iOS 26.1, when I tap, it just turns off the data, instead of giving me the option to switch to another carrier. Aftwr talking to an Apple representative, he was confused, and told me Apple has disabled it. But I don't believe so, because if Apple would ave disabled it, the two way arrow would have also be removed and the 'Allow Mobile Data Switching' toggle within Setting > Mobile Services > Mobile Data would have also gottrn removed.

Please help me identify if there's anyone else facing the same issue on their iOS 26.1 device or not? I'm currently using iPhone 16 Pro Max.
