How can i play a 32-bit game on a newer version of mac sillicone?

I recently downloaded an old game from steam which is 32-bit. Every time i try run this game, steam tells me my computer is unable to run 32-bit games. I have tried using Porting Kit, it didn't work. I have also tried Oracle VisualBox to create a visual machine on which i could emulate windows but i soon realized that i had to buy and install windows 11 to have this work. Can anyone help?

iMac 24″, macOS 14.1

Apple removed all support for 32-bit Intel applications in Catalina. No version of macOS that runs on Apple Silicon Macs is compatible with them.

Running Windows 11 for ARM in a virtual machine would do nothing to let you run 32-bit Mac applications. It might let you run some Windows applications – but note that Windows applications built only for Intel / AMD chips would be running inside of an Intel emulation environment, inside of a copy of Windows 11 for ARM that itself was running inside of a virtual machine.

I don't know if QEMU is mature enough to be usable for running Intel-based versions of macOS – let alone running them with sufficient performance for gaming.

You're probably going to have to do without that game.
