I put photos into albums. Can I delete them from my library now or will they get deleted from my albums as well. I just dont want a million photos in my library

Yes, if you delete a photo from your library, it will be deleted from the album. Photos are NOT stored in two locations. The album is merely a pointer from your library, not a duplicate photo. And if you sync photos with iCloud, if you delete a photo from the library or album, the photo will be deleted everywhere including iCloud.
