Opening and converting .bin files that contain music recordings.

I have a collection of .bin files that contain music recordings but have been unable to find a utility to open them. Tried everything that was suggested such as Unarchiver and Stuffit Expander but both programs do not recognize this file format. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
