Focusrite Scarlett Solo not connected with FCP

HelloW FinalCutPro Community World,

My name is a Daniel. My friends call me an eternal newbie, yet, I've manage to stay up to date with video editing tools such as Final Cut Pro... or I like to beleive.

Here is my problem.

I purchased an outside microphone and the ¨Focusrite Scarlett Solo¨. The problem is that my install is incomplete.

I add a screen capture from a youtube video I found to give you a hint about what is wrong.

This screen capture is not my own, I took it from YouTube.

It shows a successfull instal whereas mine is not. ... See bellow for more...

The ¨Countdown to record¨ on my MacBook, the ¨Mute project while recording¨ and the ¨Create Audition from takes are idle.

Any suggestions?
