ONLY Apple or an actual Apple Authorized Service Provide (like BestBuy in the US) have access to authentic Apple parts. If your screen was replaced by anyone else, you don't have an authentic screen on your iPhone and that would absolutely explain why the screen color isn't accurate. Unfortunately, you have rendered your phone ineligible for any service options. Apple will refuse to support any device which has been tampered with. Going with someone else because the cost was high, will prove to be a bad decision on your part.

Did you get the damage fixed by an Authorised Apple Service Provider, and were genuine spare parts used?

i have been told from the repairer that the battery has also been damaged

So, was the battery replaced as well?

Both the screen and battery were genuine Apple parts installed by an Apple authorized shop.....correct?

If not, we can't even offer an opinion in that case.

Hello~ As previously stated…we can’t really venture a guess because you had your iPhone repaired outside of the Apple ecosystem. It is what it is now…you’re going to have to live with it.
