Battery health dropping quickly – iPhone bought in April

Hi everyone,

I bought my iPhone 14 in April 2025, and the battery health is already down to 93%. I use it normally and take good care of charging — I don’t let it drain completely, and I always use the original charger. Still, the battery health seems to drop by about 1% every few days, which feels too fast for such a new device.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is this normal, or should I contact Apple Support about it?

Thanks in advance!

On average, you can expect about a 1% decline in battery health per month on an iPhone 14. You bought your phone in April and it's now November, so you've had your phone at least 7 months. 93% battery health after 7 months is actually pretty much what you'd expect. Keep in mind that battery health decline is not linear. It can remain steady for a while, then drop a few points rapidly. It doesn't appear there's anything unusual going on with your iPhone. When the battery health dips to 80% in the future, it will then be time to pay Apple to replace the battery.
