iPhone Battery Draining Fast After iOS 18 Update – Anyone Else Facing This?

Hey everyone! 👋

I recently updated my iPhone 13 to iOS 18, and I’ve noticed that the battery life has dropped significantly. Earlier, it used to last almost a full day, but now it barely makes it till evening even with light use.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

  • Disabled Background App Refresh

  • Turned off Location Services for most apps

  • Reduced screen brightness and auto-lock time

  • Checked Battery Health (it’s still at 91%)

Despite all this, the battery is draining unusually fast. 😕

Is anyone else experiencing similar issues after the iOS 18 update? And if yes, have you found any working solutions or tips to improve battery performance?

Hey! 👋 You’re not alone — lots of users are seeing faster battery drain after updating to iOS 18. It’s usually temporary while the system reindexes and optimizes in the background (can take a couple of days).

Still, try checking Settings → Battery for any apps using more power than usual, disable things like Haptic Keyboard or Raise to Wake, and make sure you’re on the latest patch (Apple often releases quick fixes). It should stabilize soon! 🔋
