3 Weeks with new IPhone 17 and Battery Draining Quite Quickly

Hi! I bought a new iPhone 17 3 weeks ago and I understand the initial battery drainage would be higher than normal as the phone is getting acclimated to normal usage. I am approaching 3 weeks and I am still noticing my battery is not lasting nearly as long as my friend’s iPhone 17. We got the phone as the same time and they are not experiencing the drainage like I am.

I have lost 3% today from just 7 minutes on the lock screen? How does that happen. When I am texting people in iMessage, I lose on average 1% every 4 minutes. Is this normal? I have tried visiting the Genius Bar and they said my battery is fine. I am also updated to the latest IOS.

I upgraded my 13 to the 17 because the battery capacity on that was at 73%, but I feel like my 17 is dying on me just as quick as my 13 was. I followed apples threads on how to improve battery life but none of them have been helpful. I have lost 2% in the 7 minutes it took me to write this post.
