How to reduce white point on MacBook Pro for better low-light viewing?

I find it really hard to look at my MacBook Pro 2023 in low lighting because the brightness doesn't go down far enough.

On my phone it's pretty simple as I can reduce the white point with a slider, but when I tried to figure out how to do this with my Macbook it won't work.

I already tried the color tinting, and that doesn't work as I want to be able to properly see the colors.

I was going to try and play around with custom presets in the display settings but I have no clue what any of it means and I don't want to mess anything up.

It's completely up to date and running MacOS 26.
