How do I fix slow loading and lag in safe mode on my Mac?

Help! My Mac is really laggy and does not load. When I try to load, it keeps on loading so slowly. This is in safe mode by the way.

iMac 27" running really really slow - ran etrecheck in safe boot iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2019) 3.6 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i9 (i9-9900K) CPU: 8-core 96 GB RAM my Mac takes ages to boot up, I do have files on the desktop and my cloud backs up the desktop. It starts up and after logging on takes a while to start then goes on to a grey screen for a while before turning black and returring to my normal black desktop wallpaper.

IMac Desktop is running slow I have a 2015 IMac desktop and it has begun to run extremely slow. I have ran diagnostics and all of that. I have it in safe mode right now, but it still runs slow. I have attached a copy of the EtreCheck report if anyone who has more knowledge than I do can look at it and give me some advice. Thank you.

This is quite normal if you started your Mac in Safe Mode. Safe Mode is used to diagnose your Mac, so most extensions are disabled and the graphics run in a low resolution mode as well.

Start up your Mac in safe mode - Apple Support

After a restart your Mac will work again as usual.
