Since iOS 26.1 I have a 13 and a 15 Pro that keep switching between cellular and wi-fi. I have searched the internet and found a dozen remedies but none fixed the issue. It is very frustrating. Is it a software issue with 26.1??
Perhaps a long shot:
Do you have a 3rd party VPN installed, even if you are not using it? If so, delete the VPN profile in Settings/General/VPN & Device Management/VPN, then restart your device. Don't just turn it off; delete the profile. If that fixes it, you can try reinstalling VPN, but probably shouldn't.

That is why Wifi Assist kept cutting in then.

How about Settings, Cellular, Wifi assist, turn it off
A new TP-Link network that I set up worked perfectly. It was so weird.

Failing Wi-Fi devices aren’t particularly unusual, nor is interference.
Some routers get exploited too, and TP-Link has had vulnerabilities.
On one Wi-Fi network, or on all Wi-Fi networks?
Wi-fi and cellular keep flipping to each other. 20 times per minute.
