iPhone 14 Unable to Update (Errors & Keyboard Freezing)

I’m looking for assistance with an issue I’ve been experiencing on my iPhone 14. Over the past few days, the device has started to show two consistent problems:

1. The keyboard occasionally freezes or becomes unresponsive.
2. I have been unable to install the latest iOS update despite multiple attempts.

Here are my device details:

• iPhone 14, 256 GB
• Current iOS: 17.4.1
• Available Storage: 88.21 GB free (167.79 GB / 256 GB used)
• Date & Time: Set automatically and correct
• VPN: None installed
• Wi-Fi Speed: ~597 Mbps download / 110 Mbps upload (on average)

Troubleshooting steps attempted (multiple times over the last three days):

1. Restarted the device through Settings → General → Shut Down
2. Performed a force restart using Volume Down + Power
3. Restarted my Wi-Fi router
4. Reset Network Settings (General → Transfer or Reset iPhone → Reset Network Settings)
5. Could delete last iOS update from General - Rest & Transfer - iOS (7.4.1) as not delete option available

I attempted the above steps several times with the phone fully charged, connected to power, and with a strong Wi-Fi connection. Unfortunately, I continue to receive different outcomes such as:

• “An error occurred downloading iOS 18.7.2”
• Extended periods of “Checking for Update…”
• “iOS 18.7.2 – Update Requested…” remaining on screen for many hours

This is the first time I’ve experienced this type of repeated update failure on my device, and I’m hoping for guidance on what to try next. I want to ensure I’m not missing any additional steps, or if there is another recommended approach.
