Calculator app currency converter

ios26.1 Calculator App Currency convertor, not listing currencies. Tahoe does.

I have removed Calculator app > hard reboot iPhone 13 > re-installed Calculator app. I have excellent WiFi and 5g connections. It only shows NZ & Euro on numeric pad. I have posted iPhone feedback.

How do I get rid of the currency converter screen in Calculator? When using the iOS calculator, I accidentally hit something and got the screen below. I'm not interested in currency conversion and only want to do addition, but I can't figure any way to get back to the basic calculator screen. Restarting the app doesn't help. How to get Apple Numbers recognise USD is US$ (which is listed in Number Currency)? What is best way for Apple Numbers to recognise currency that does not conform to Numbers Preferences? Change default currency in Ventura I am in the UK and doing some SwiftUI training and the tutorial uses: format: .currency(Locale.current.currency?.identifier ?? "GBP"). But Locale.current.currency?.identifier is returning "USD" Ventura no longer offers a UI for updating the currency so I used the Terminal solution proposed in this forum. Before: defaults read NSGlobalDomain AppleLocale --> "en_GB" defaults write NSGlobalDomain AppleLocale -string "en_GB@currency=GBP" After: defaults read NSGlobalDomain AppleLocale --> "en_GB@currency=GBP" But in XCode: Locale.current.currency?.identifier is still returning "USD" How can I change this value?

Hmm, mine lists dozens.

Perhaps a long shot:

Do you have a 3rd party VPN installed, even if you are not using it? If so, delete the VPN profile in Settings/General/VPN & Device Management/VPN, then restart your device. Don't just turn it off; delete the profile. If that fixes it, you can try reinstalling VPN, but probably shouldn't.
