Keyboard covers controls in Notes Slide Over

its lovely to have slide over back, but now, with notes in slide over, when you have the keyboard open you can’t close it as it piles on top of the new row of controls that close it.

Disable sliding text cursor feature iPadOS Sliding two fingers across the OSK moves the text cursor in that direction. It's fine, but tapping two fingers highlights the previous word. QWERT keyboards are designed to slow typing speed for typewriters, but apple added an extra layer of slowness to it. If you press two keys at once according to the iPad, it will highlight the previous word and mess up the sentence. As far as I know, there's no way to disable this feature.

Unexpected “scrolling away from” the “current line of focus” within Notes. Why does Notes scroll away from the current line of a checklist? I use the checkbox (really looks like a check-bullet) format: “☑︎– □–“ (except showing circles“◉– ◯–” rather than square boxes) icon that is featured second — i.e. between the “Aa” and the “⍯”(i.e. 3x2-Table) buttons/icons — within the Notes GUI to create checklists. A shopping list or a “to do” list are two classic examples/applications of this extremely useful line format. The trouble is, after toggling a checkbox (whether checked to unchecked or vice-verse) the screen often scrolls away to some other line within that checklist. This is not much of a setback whenever the list is short (eg fits on one screen) but if the list is very long (longer than one screen) then it represents a severe productivity hit as I search to find the line with which I last interacted. Why is the Notes app taking focus away from the currently edited line?

Screen scrolls to top once I touch top edge of screen. Dear Apple, please please please please please include a settings function so I can permanently disable the feature whereby my notes(pdf file or otherwise) KEEP scrolling all the way to the top when Im annotating with my Apple Pencil and accidentally touch the top Edge of the screen. It is incredibly irritating, dampens the experience of using this incredible product, and unless I’m missing something it seems like loads other users have this problem and there’s no way around it either. please!! and thank you
