Phonic hearing aids and iPhone 17

Phonic Audeo I90 Sphere hearing aids. Just purchased the iPhone 17 I had an iPhone 11 the hearing aids worked perfect. they now will not stream to the iPhone 17. The 17 will connect to the hearing aids, but I no longer have the streaming ability. Phonic indicates

it is an apple issue. Does anyone have any information concerning this problem?

How did you connect the hearing aids? Paring them in Bluetooth settings is NOT the right way if they are Made for iPhone certified. Go to Settings/Accessibility/Hearing devices to set up hearing aids.

If they are not iPhone certified contact the manufacturer.

Phonak hearing aids company has no hearing aids, including Audéo, that are MFI certified. See the list here:

List of Made for iPhone hearing devices - Apple Support

after bluetooth pairing your hearing aids, what plays through them is controlled by

Settings > Accessibility > Hearing Devices > Audio Routing

you can change settings for:

call audio

media audio
