Hotspot on new iPhone 17 is not working. Connecting, first, takes extremely long, and then I'm shown the following message
and, of course, internet on my iPhone works just right and it's next to the macbook.

Thanks. I did a few restarts, and those did not work. In the end, I ran the "reset network settings" like in the attached tutorial, and that fixed the situation. It's a bit annoying as I have to retype some WiFi passwords, but works in the end

The boring standard answer. Have you tried restarting both your MacBook and your iPhone? If you have a VPN enabled on your iPhone, try disabling it.
