Face ID not recognizing new glasses on iPhone

The problem is almost certainly the IR blocking lenses.

The TrueDepth camera uses IR. It's not likely to work at all with those glasses.

IR Blocking lenses are specifically designed to protect against facial recognition technology.

You have chosen a product that is designed NOT to work with technologies like faceid.

Is it just those particular glasses? If yes then my thought is there must be some characteristic about them that is simply beyond the level of technology capable of distinguishing sufficient features for FaceID to work with those particular glasses. One solution (I know you won't like this) would be to program FaceID without you wearing glasses and to remove them when trying to use FaceID. Or simply don't use FaceID at all.

Threatening to switch to Android doesn't really carry any weight on this forum. We are just regular everyday Apple products users trying to help other Apple products users like ourself. If you do want to switch to Android I would first ascertain that it can do any better with those glasses.

The OP didn't say these new glasses were IR blocking. The OP said, "I have glasses, tinted, polarized, IR Blockers, that all work with my FaceID." It's the new glasses (with unspecified properties) that do not work.

Did you try turning off attention aware?
