File > Save on a Mac

on an iPad you can tap con the file name and select save

If you edit through iCloud, your changes save automatically

Document in Pages is not Auto-Saving I have a document that is not auto-saving in Pages. I can't find an option to enable auto-saving. I've also lost hours of work on this document when working simultaneously between iPhone and my Mac. When I edit the document on my Mac and then apply changes to the document on my iPhone, all of what was done on my Mac got overwritten by the file from my iPhone because changes to the document are not synchronizing immediately on both devices.
