Imessage has issue with the associated email

How do you get messages to send when the email associated with imessages doesnt recognize my address. Imessage says the email doesnt exist so how do i change imessage email

You can add a new email address to use with iMessages and FaceTime here:

Settings > Apple Account (Your Name) > Sign-In & Security > tap Add email or phone number


Add the correct email address. You can also tap on the incorrect email and select Change Email Address. Once you have added/changed your email, it should be available in iMessages.


Check this here: Settings > Apps > Messages > Send & Receive.
